Das wunderschöne warme Osterwochenende haben meine Schwester Edith und ich genutzt, um den Babybauch in dem sich noch Paula befindet fotografisch festzuhalten. Sie schnappte sich ein paar Sachen zum wechseln, ab in ihr Beetle Cabrio (das Wetter schrie geradezu nach Cabriofahren!) und raus in die Natur. Ich habe sollche spontanen Shootings sehr gerne, ohne großes Vorbereiten und Planen losstarten, vorallem, wenn man auch keinerlei Vorgaben bekommt wie die Bilder denn dann aussehen sollen. Am 1.Mai steht der Geburtstermin an. Am selben Tag wird auch das neue Restaurant meiner Schwester und meines Schwagers eröffnet, deswegen wird Paula wohl eines der wenigen Kinder sein, die sich genau an den errechneten Termin hält.
(Und wer meine Schwester kennt, der weiß, das es nicht meine Schwester wäre, wenn alles nicht so wäre wie es sein wird….oder?)
The beautiful warm Easter weekend, my sister Edith and I used for a babybellyshooting with Paula inside. She grabbed a few things to change into her Beetle Cabrio (the weather cried out for convertible driving!) and there we where out in the nature. I love such spontaneous shoots without great preparation and planning, especially if you have no targets, how the images should look like. On May 1 is the birth date. On the same day the grand opening of her new restaurant takes place, so Paula will be probably one of the few children who holds exactly the calculated date.
(And who knows my sister, knows, this would not be my sister, if not everything will be how it will be …. am I right?)

Heute war es so weit. Edith und Nils haben den Pachtvertrag für ihr neues Restaurant unterschrieben. Innerhalb von nur zwei Wochen haben wir es jetzt teilweise neu gestaltet und hergerichtet. Das Logo des neuen Restaurants habe ich kreiert. Der Name EDILS setzt sich aus den Buchstaben der beiden Vornamen zusammen EDIth und nILS.Und da das Lokal in Illmitz ist, bot sich das I in der Mitte als Ortsangabe an.
Sie werden zwei Versionen des Logo´s verwenden. Primär ist das Logo mit schwarzem Hintergrund vorgesehen, aber auf den Drucksorten, wie Briefpapier und Visitenkarten kommt das tintensparendere Logo mit weißem Hintergrund.
Today Edith and Nils had the lease for her new restaurant signed. Within only 2 weeks now, it will be reshaped and prepared. And I have created the logo of the new restaurants. The name EDILS consists of the letters of the two first names together EDIth and nILS.Und because it is located in Illmitz the I in the middle offered to stand for the location.
There are two versions of the logo in use. The primary logo is the one with the black background and for business cards and letters, the ink-saving logo with white background is used. There can not be much changes in the two weeks until the opening on 1 May. I had to take a few pictures of the actual state so we can compare it after everything is finished.
